Short answer

Rakeback is one part of the VIP programme: Stake's help page says all VIP members receive rakeback based on their bets. This page sets out, as Stake publishes them, the VIP levels and their thresholds, the kinds of reward each level opens, the factors behind the weekly and monthly bonuses, and where rakeback starts when no referral code was used. Stake's articles word the thresholds differently, one as a total wagered and another as points, and this page prints both without converting. The rakeback rate for each level is not given level by level in the text this site read, so this page neither works it out nor compares levels. This is an independent affiliate website, not Stake's own site, and it has not opened an account. Every figure sits in the cards under each section.

What rakeback is, and where it belongs

Stake's introduction to its VIP programme lists several kinds of reward: weekly boosts, rakeback, reload bonuses and monthly offers. Rakeback is one of them, and Stake states that all VIP members receive it based on their bets. So rakeback is not a separate promotion; it is a reward that hangs on the VIP programme.

How the rate is set, and how much each level gets back, is not written out level by level in the text this site read. For that reason this page shows no rate calculated by this site and does not say which level is better.

VIP levels and thresholds

Stake publishes a whole ladder of VIP levels, from the entry level up to the highest, each with its own threshold. The card below follows the VIP programme page, where the threshold is expressed as the total amount wagered.

One caution. Another Stake article, on VIP levels and benefits, words the entry condition as earning a stated number of points by wagering. The same matter is described in different units in different articles. This page prints both as written, does not convert between them, and does not judge which one is the rule actually applied. To check your own progress, use the VIP page in your account.

Which rewards each level opens

Stake uses a table to show from which level each reward is available. Monthly bonuses, level-up bonuses, rakeback and weekly bonuses are open from the lowest level; bonus growth, daily bonuses and custom benefits come in at higher levels. The table is below, and this page adds no commentary to it.

Weekly boosts, reload and monthly bonuses each get a short description from Stake. Weekly boosts are issued on a fixed schedule and posted to the VIP Telegram channel. The reload is a daily bonus for players at a higher tier, based on recent wagering. Monthly bonuses depend on VIP level and recent wagers and are sent by email. The exact day, time and period lengths are in Stake's original wording in the cards.

How weekly and monthly bonuses are worked out

Stake says which factors its weekly and monthly bonuses are calculated from, and they are listed in the card: the VIP rank, the amount wagered in the period, the profit values that apply, and the house edge of the games you play. Stake gives the factors only. It publishes no formula and no weighting, so this page offers no worked example and cannot say how much wagering turns into how much bonus.

Stake adds one sentence: if no email arrives, you are not qualified for a bonus that month. That is Stake's own statement, not a judgement by this site. Stake also says dedicated VIP hosts may be available to players who reach a high level. The wording is "may", which is no guarantee, and Stake does not say which level.

Without a referral code: where rakeback starts and where to collect it

Stake's rakeback help article is clear. When no referral code was used, rakeback starts only once a total amount has been wagered, which brings you into the entry level of the VIP Club; from then on every wager earns rakeback. The amount is in the card. In other words, a new account opened without a referral code does not have rakeback from the first moment.

As for where to collect it, Stake says to open the VIP page and select the rakeback tab. This site has not opened an account, so for the details of the screen, rely on what you see in your own account.

The welcome offer: rakeback available early

Stake describes its welcome offer as instant access to the rakeback bonus that is normally unlocked only on reaching the entry level of the VIP Club, so there is no need to build up the threshold first. Stake states that the offer pays rakeback and publishes the rate; the wording is in the card below.

How the welcome offer is claimed, and the time limit for entering a referral code, are covered on the referral code page of this site. This page makes no judgement about the value of the offer and reports only what Stake publishes. When you are ready, the button below goes to Stake.

Check the VIP page yourself

Thresholds, rewards and payout rules can be changed by Stake, and this page reports Stake's text as it was read. Your actual level progress and the rewards you can collect are shown on the VIP page in your own account, and that is the page to trust.

Rakeback is not income: play within your means

Rakeback and VIP rewards do not turn playing into a steady income, and they do not cancel out losses. Playing can lose money, and this site guarantees no outcome. Use only money you can afford to lose. Stake describes two tools of its own, shown below: a loss limit and self-exclusion. This site does not judge whether the law where you live allows you to use Stake.

Beyond those tools, contact a gambling support service in the country where you live. English-speaking readers live in many countries, and this site has not verified a helpline that serves all of them, so it lists none here.

In Stake's own words

Loss limits

Loss limits enable users to set boundaries on the amount of money they can potentially lose within a specified time frame. … However, any increase in the loss limit is subject to a 24-hour cooling-off period.

Self-exclusion

The indefinite exclusion has a minimum period of 6 months from the application date.

Questions people ask

What does rakeback mean at Stake?
Rakeback is one of the rewards of the VIP programme. Stake's help page says all VIP members receive rakeback based on their bets. The rate for each level is not published level by level in the text this site read, so this site does not work it out.
How much do I have to wager to move up a VIP level?
Stake publishes a threshold for each level, and the full list is in the card on this page. One Stake article words the thresholds as points instead of a total wagered; this site prints both and does not convert. Your actual progress is on the VIP page in your account.
Without a referral code, when does rakeback begin?
Stake says that without a referral code, rakeback starts once the total wagered in the card is reached, which brings you into the entry level of the VIP Club, and then every wager earns it. With the welcome offer, the rakeback that is normally unlocked at that level can be used early.
Once rakeback has built up in my account, which screen do I open to take it?
Stake's help article says to open the VIP page and then select the rakeback tab. This site has not opened an account, so the real screen may look different and your own account is what counts.
How are the weekly and monthly VIP bonuses calculated?
Stake lists the factors: the VIP rank, the amount wagered in the period, the profit values that apply, and the house edge of the games played. It publishes no formula, so this site offers no estimate. Monthly bonuses come by email, and no email means no bonus that month.
Which rewards does the VIP programme include?
Stake lists monthly bonuses, level-up bonuses, rakeback and weekly bonuses from the lowest level, with bonus growth, daily bonuses and custom benefits at higher levels. The table in this page's cards shows which reward starts at which level.
Is there a personal VIP host?
Stake says dedicated VIP hosts may be available to players who reach a high level. That is "may", not a guarantee, and Stake does not say which level.
Does the welcome offer give a bonus balance or rakeback?
According to Stake, the welcome offer rewards you with rakeback, a stated share of the house edge on each game, available early instead of waiting for the entry level of the VIP Club. The exact share is in the card, and the claiming rules are on the referral code page.

When you are ready, go to Stake. Read its terms before you sign up, and check the rules where you live.
